For over 50 years, EF has proudly worked with educators and educational partners to transform the way students look at the world—and themselves. That passion has grown their family- owned company into the world leader in international education with more than 1 million students experiencing their programs every year.
2017 is a big year for EF and Canada—it marks the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, a momentous moment in our nation’s past, and we couldn’t be more proud to be partnering with EF for their commemorative event in France. With more than 8,000 students and educators attending from across Canada, Vimy 100 will instill a deeper sense of national pride, and a new perspective on the past, present, and future potential of our country and its place in the world.
Beyond Vimy, 2017 continues to be a significant year as we look forward to holding the Invictus Games in Toronto. EF and Invictus Toronto will be working closely together throughout the event to commemorate and honour Canada’s injured soldiers, and support their rehabilitation and recovery—especially poignant as this year marks the 150th anniversary of our Confederation.
EF tours are rich with unforgettable moments that bring people, places, and cultures to life. From cultural tours of Europe and Asia, to community-driven Service Learning tours in South America and Africa, to Historic Event tours that focus on bringing Canadian history to life all over the world, they aim to give students the opportunity to explore some of the world’s most fascinating sites and build life skills through unforgettable experiences abroad.
